  • Where are you located?

We are located at 1740 Sycamore Street in Kingman, Arizona, just north of Kingman Regional Medical Center off Stockton Hill Road.

Are you accredited? Yes, we are accredited by the American Association of Ambulatory Health Centers (AAAHC).

What is your history? Planning for Doctors Surgery Center of Kingman began in 1999. Two years later construction was completed and DSCK opened for its first patient in July, 2001. DSCK is an LLC having been formed by investing physicians from Mohave County, Arizona and Clark County, Nevada. Today some 29 credentialed physicians use the facility offering ten specialties. DSCK remains independent of any hospital or any third party, preferring to manage the center with recruited management expertise and local nursing and office staff.

Do you accept employment applications via email?

Yes, you may visit the Employment page and view available positions. Thereafter, we suggest that you fill out the employment application and submit it online. You will receive a response, thanking you for your submission and also requesting that you email a cover letter.

What types of surgery do you offer?

There are at least ten categories of surgery available at DSCK, including:

Where do your surgeons come from? All of our surgeons reside in the Tri-State region. Each is highly qualified, either with an MD or DO designation. Each must be credentialed for privileges at DSCK and presently there are 29 individuals who have achieved that status. Our physicians all practice with a patient-focus and are highly skilled in their respective specialties.

Are financial arrangements available? Yes, Patient Accounts can explain your financial responsibility and then, under the right circumstances, a short-term payment plan can be negotiated. It is likely that a promissory note must be accepted and signed by the patient if there are to be such payments. As with any debt, a close adherence to agreed upon performance and communication are essential to avoiding unpleasant problems.

If my physician wants to talk with the Center whom should be called? If your physician would like to discuss an upcoming procedure, the Executive Administrator and/or the Medical Director are ready to review policy and procedure and process. We welcome inquiries from practitioners who want to become acquainted with us.

How many procedures are performed at DSCK during an average month? There is some seasonality to procedure volume, but the average number of procedures is between 200 and 300 each month.

Can I have a tour of DSCK before I become a patient? Absolutely, if you want a tour to help reduce your anxiety, or that of a minor child, a tour can be easily be arranged. The better time to come in would be afternoons from 3:00pm through 5:00pm. Just call the Receptionist.
